Earn money while making a difference! The Ohio Youth Leadership Summit offers a paid opportunity for young adults (ages 18–29) to grow personally and politically. Participants gain leadership and community organizing skills, strengthen their resumes, and build confidence navigating important conversations about personal health.
Our 2026 theme, Power in Progress: Leading the Change Within and Beyond, recognizes leadership as a process rather than a destination and affirms that young people do not need to have everything figured out to create meaningful impact.
Through OYLS, participants will learn how to:
- Host a Safer Party using harm reduction skills
- Address racism, poverty, and HIV stigma in your community
- Recognize and prevent STIs
- Build situational and safety awareness
- Strengthen political advocacy through policy education

The 2026 Ohio Youth Leadership Summit will take place July 31–August 2 at:

Participants will engage in a weekend of leadership development, community building, and skill-sharing designed to support young people in creating change within themselves, their communities, and beyond.
